I agree completely. Shenmue was a great game with some flaws that need to be addressed. Controls were a bit clunky and so were some of the animations. If Shenmue III released with some of the flaws addressed (and in HD), I do believe it would sell well.
I still have my DC and the original Shenmue. It strikes me as one of those games that will be super expensive one day. It was way ahead of its time.
Her artificial arm is pretty sweet. She also seems to be the tech specialist of the group.

Looks absolutely great. I don't care what anyone says. I will be enjoying an awesome looking game with replay value far exceeding just about any, if not all, other FPS out there.
Some of you are completely blinded by your nerd rage over Halo.
It's a great idea and they did a hell of a job keeping the lag to a minimum. The game just didn't impress me much. The controls never felt right, it looked horrible (I give a pass there because of other technical achievements), and unfortunately it has stiff competition with BFBC2 coming out in the not too distant future.
On the other hand, I like how they reward the player with upgrades and the number of players is a technical feat that will hopefully push other games to do the...
There's a HUGE difference. When it's playable from start to finish, it doesn't necessarily mean that all the texture, color, environments, and all that other stuff is done (or even close to done for that matter). A lot of it will be placeholder. It just means that they can get through the whole campaign (something that is always done far before release).
That's because all of those were low res and the color was all screwy. These are real shots just straight uploaded to the site. Much better quality in this case.
And don't worry about foliage. If Halo 3 is any indication, there will be plenty of it (when necessary, of course).

And I'm one of the few that will openly agree with you about Halo 3. Very under appreciated in the graphics department.
You know that stuff is in and I know it'll be even better than in Halo 3.
I just want to see it in motion when the time is right. Although, I don't want to see any gameplay vids until it looks damn near what the final game will look like.
Considering it's a build that's 3-4 months old with placeholder textures and what-not, I'd say it looks damn good. Jumping to conclusion about a game's looks when said game is 7-8 months from release and still in pre-alpha stage (one Bungie employee said pre-alpha. Just quoting what he said) makes you look rather ridiculous. (Not speaking to anyone in particular. Just a general statement).

And Blade, how can I be ripped off if I enjoyed what I played in every Halo game? Do you feel ripped off playing Metal Gear or Ratchet and Clank? You're getting games that feel and play like their previous entries there.

Would love a brand new Twisted Metal. I loved those games and a new re-imagination of the game would be extremely awesome.
